NNNS What’s on in 2026 –
Sunday 2nd August 10.30am until lunch (optional pm)
Birds and Butterflies at Horsey led by Francis Farrow, a very knowledgeable Naturalist.
Where &Parking: Parking National Trust (Horsey Mill). Charge if not a member. I will ask if this can be waived as we are recording. NR29 4EE. w3w thundered.lofts.pose.
Note: Some permissive paths are closed as cattle present so part of the walk will be alongside a road. The circular walk is about 3 miles on footpaths, tracks and along road/verge. There is very little shade and none at all along the dune track so if temperatures are high please be prepared – sun screen, hat and water bottle as the walk is expected to be at least 2hrs.
Saturday 15th August 10.30am start until lunch afterwards at your leisure.
Description: Norfolk Rivers Trust/NNNS Field Event – All welcome.
Post project recording and normal field event.

Description: Introduction to wildflowers.

Description: We return to Bretts Wood with a UK Fungi Expert – Geoff Kibby.

Fungi at Litcham Common led by Geoff Kibby, UK Fungi Expert.
Where &Parking: Postcode for the village of Litcham is PE32 2NS. W3w stylist.letter.laugh. Drive a little way through Litcham, in the Dereham direction, but while just about to leave Litcham take the first turning right which is just at the start of the few allotments which are on the right.

Description: No group entrance charge. Bring lunch there is a Café.
